ABOUT DRAGO SHOLEV

Drago was born on 21 July 1977 in Russe, Bulgaria. He graduated from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts, NAFTA (animation, film & tv directing). He was assistant director in numbers of feature films and director of more than 250 commercials and music videos. After the success of his shorts: "Family", "Habanera", "Before Life, After Death" and the Go-Between he directed his first feature film "Shelter" which received for now 21 awards for its appearance at over 70 festivals around the world. His 2nd feature film "the pig" he just finished in 2019.

Drago´s commercial work has been distiguished for its wide range, strong visual storytelling and humor with special cast.
he is very busy since more then 10 years in the balkan market for several countries but also worked for Asia already.

Drago lives with his family in Sofia and speak russian, bulgarian and english
