1986, a majestical year for Belgium: Sandra Kim wins the Eurovision Song Contest, the Red Devils play the semi-finals at the World Cup in Mexico and Wim Geudens dives his way onto planet earth.
After getting his teacher’s degree, Wim decided to pursue his passion for film making and that’s where the fun began. Wim is known for his slightly absurd sense of humor, atypical casting, a keen eye for art direction and a strong cinematographic style. His work ranges from dark and dry comedy to the most epic and thrilling campaigns, sprinkled with his love for nostalgia and cinematic clichés.
With his passion for actor directing, he brings the best performances out of a professional and a non-experienced cast. Wim has a lot of experience with a-list actors who trust him in doing “something crazy” and who love to work with him thanks to his respectful and human approach.
After some internationally recognized short films, which gained 100+ festival selections and numerous awards, he directed Studio Tarara. This comedy-drama series got nominated at Canneseries and won the main award at the Berlin International TV Series Festival.
Wim lives in the countryside of Belgium but he loves to travel, listen to eighties music, throw rocks and make the best homemade pizza for his wife and two boys. He speaks English fluently, some French, some German and some Spanish if the mood is right.
