UP&CO work as a Director-DP-Duo for beauty commercials and fashion themes. Markus and Chris combine a wide range of skills and share the same passion for creating vibrant images.

Markus started his career in various positions such as makeup artist, stylist and production designer before he started working as a photographer and director himself. He lived in San Francisco, Paris and Barcelona and developed his professional profile mainly in Paris and London. He has worked for numerous international clients including Vivienne Westwood, Harper's Bazaar, Madame, Levis, Hanro and Sony Music. Markus is fluent in German, English, French and Spanish. In addition to advertising and fashion, his work is also shown in international art exhibitions.
Chris grew up in East Germany and studied Media and Fine Arts at Bauhaus University. He has his roots in the lighting department and operated Steadicam for many commercials and European co-productions that took him around the world. Today, he shoots features and commercials for Shein Shanghai, Unity Montreal, BMW and VW, among others. In addition to shooting beauty themes and table tops, Chris has a penchant for high speed and CG. He speaks German, English and a little Brazilian Portuguese.
