Christine Wiederkehr studied film in Lausanne and Zurich. She won several awards for her short films including the German Newcomer Award 'First Steps', the Sponsorship Award of the Zürich University of Art (ZHDK) and was short listed for the student Academy Awards.

Since then, she has directed numerous high-profile, award-winning campaigns. She is driven to create outstanding films with unforgettable images. Her work is emotionally and aesthetically strong, with a poetic pulse.

She loves life and she loves people. Her strength in communication allows her to build intensive creative relationships with both professional and non-professional actors. She prides herself on creating a warm open set which brings out the best in people. Christine has raised two daughters and particularly enjoys working with children. She is adept at making them feel comfortable in front of the camera and capturing their authenticity. Her own experience of acting on stage or in front of the camera since the age of 5 gives her an added insight.

Beside her passion for commercials, Christine has recently won awards for her scriptwriting and has several feature films in development.

Collaboration and playfulness are central to her approach. She takes inspiration and energy from adapting to the conditions and needs of every task.

Christine lives with her family in Zürich and is fluent in German, English, French, and Spanish.
